Many of you will know that I have recently been struggling with what is known as 'eco-anxiety'. In my case I have been dealing with feelings of huge anger at humanities disregard for the earth, species, each other....the list is huge. I know I am not the only one with these feelings and Cyclone Gabrielle really highlighted this for me. The only way I am managing to work through them is to focus on the subtle changes from summer to winter, the light and colours that come with autumn and taking time to notice nature using all of my senses. I have also taken to drumming and using one of my crystal bowls to honour the Earth and say sorry in my own way. Tears are never far from the surface. So, if you have those moments take the time to sit with nature, to feel the air on your skin, the colour of the sky, the leaves changing colour. It really helps.
