I am a qualified Personal Trainer, Life Coach and Group Fitness Trainer. I recently moved to Taupō with my family as we love the lifestyle that this community has to offer. I am currently working as a personal training in my personal studio, at Empower Fitness Taupō and I also have a role with Bike Taupō helping to keep all the wheels turning. I enjoy all sorts of exercise and sports including, Swimming, Yoga, Pilates and Cycling (both on the road and off) I love the gym and I not only teach, but participate in many different group fitness classes. I love to cook nutritious healthy food and I am always trying simple recipes and ideas that I love to share. Throughout the years I have become so passionate about the benefits of health and fitness that I really wanted to share my knowledge and experience with others to help them achieve their fitness, nutrition and health goals and that lead to becoming a Personal Trainer. I love helping people to move well, feel strong, improve their mobility and flexibility using functional strength training. I have also worked in the IT Industry for over 20 years so I understand the stress and strains of balancing work, life and exercise. I want to help busy people balance life with their health and fitness goals. My belief is that our health is our most precious asset and that by staying active, eating nutritious food and getting out and enjoying the things we really love, that is the key to a long and healthy lifestyle. Making long lasting changes to improve our health starts with healthy habits and positive behaviours that are essential to making fitness and nutrition a part of everyday life. I want to show you that little by little, step by step, you can make an enormous, positive and long-lasting impact on your life and still do the things that you love to do. So many who want to change their health and lifestyle find it can be overwhelming and unsure where to start. I can help you to begin your journey by decluttering all the health and wellbeing information and teach you to set realistic and achievable goals that fit into your everyday life. Working with you one-on-one, we will work together to achieve your health goals. Are you a busy parent, looking to get your fitness back on track so you can run around after the kids or just get through a busy day? Are you looking for support to become more active and move better? Perhaps you just need some help with your nutrition, meal planning or cooking a meal?
