My name is Jolanda Smith, for the last thirty years, I’ve served as a dedicated registered nurse, specializing in medical and palliative care as a district nurse, practice nurse and also as a ear nurse specialist for the past twenty years. I have really enjoyed being a ear nurse, i enjoy the challenge, and also find it rewarding in being able to help people with their ear problems where I can. I previously worked as an ear nurse for Ear Health in Te Puke for 10 years, and have since purchased the Te Puke clinic from them, as i live locally and am happy to provide this service for our community and surrounding areas. My expertise lies in utilizing micro-suction techniques, aided by a microscope, to ensure precise and safe removal of ear wax, debris, and foreign bodies. Additionally, I assess various ear-related issues and offer comprehensive education on proper ear care practices.
