We are all spirits traveling in human form this time who knows where we visited last time and in what form that was .
Hollywood producer Brent Friedman says a Reagan-era official, John Herrington, told him aliens are real, that he had seen them, and that he would cry himself to sleep every night over what he knew.
Brent Friedman says that his close family friend named John Harrington had worked as an advance man for Ronald Reagan during the 1980 presidential campaign.
After Reagan was elected, Harrington got a special government appointment and moved with his family from the West Coast to Langley Farms, Virginia.
At that time, in 1981, Brent had just finished high school and was about to enter UCLA. Harrington asked him and two friends to drive his cars, some belongings, and his dog across the country to his new home. The trip was wild, but they made it safely.
When Brent saw Harrington again, he noticed how different he looked, he arrived home in a black Lincoln Town Car with a Secret Service es**rt and a briefcase handcuffed to his wrist.
Brent had known him as a disciplined, moral lawyer who didn’t drink or swear, but now Harrington looked exhausted and troubled. That night, after dinner with the family, they went out to the veranda to talk privately.
Harrington brought out a bottle of Jim Beam and started drinking, which shocked Brent because it was so unlike him. Harrington seemed deeply burdened, as if something about his new job was weighing heavily on him.
When Brent asked what he was doing for the government, Harrington said he couldn’t reveal much because it was classified. After Brent kept pressing for answers, Harrington finally said that before starting his job, he had been briefed for several months in an underground facility in West Virginia.
He confessed that during that time, he cried himself to sleep every night. That confession stayed with Brent, because he couldn’t imagine this strong, composed man breaking down like that.
When Brent asked why, Harrington told him, “This is not the world I thought I was bringing my daughters into.” The statement confused and unsettled the young Brent, who was only 18 at the time.
He pushed for more explanation, saying he needed to understand what kind of world he was living in. Eventually, Harrington hinted at something shocking, knowing Brent’s love for science fiction, he said, “Aliens are real. They’re here, and I’ve seen them.”
