๐๏ธ One of the most common questions that floats around about Osteopathy is...... "What IS Osteopathy??" - Often closely followed by "It's 'bones'... right?" ๐
Well, it's an understandable assumption! 'Osteopathy' means 'disease of the bone' in Latin, but Osteopathy is ๐SO MUCH MORE๐ than just 'bones' ๐
Osteopathy is a form of hands-on manual therapy which approaches the body in a holistic manner ๐๏ธ Osteopaths are dedicated to restoring your body to your optimum state of health, and use a variety of different approaches to achieve this.
Our bodies are a complex unit, where many parts work intricately together to keep us alive and healthy! โค๏ธOsteopaths understand how all of the different body systems interrelate, and how they can affect each other when things go wrong โก Osteopathy is all about finding the source of the problem, and treating everything involved with *that* ๐ i.e. Not just 'rubbing the sore bit' ๐
Osteopathy is a hands on treatment for a full body solution! ๐
