Life experience
For the past 15 ish years I have dedicated my life to learning about the body.. the being and how we function... & the importance of wholistic wellbeing
Through my own deep journeying learning about the illness I had been challenged with ( thyroid autoimmune disorder)
Using myself as a test dummy I dove deep into the thick of it.. ( please practice safe trial & error processes, listen to intuition & seek professional guidance)
It's a long process realigning with what's good... grateful that my babies have had deeply grounded upbringing with the goodness of the fruits of my Harty journeying... We still have much to unlearn.. learn.
Shift and change.. but each step we take in and each challenge we navigate...always coming back to what's good
No one's perfect.. as long as you can give time and energy to shifting one thing for your wellbeing.. that's a huge step forward
Our fave shop has been such a uplifting space for our well-being jounrey.. I have learnt so much from the wahine in this shop... the dedication to the wellbeing of the community is at the heart of this space.. grateful it exists in this ao

Listening to those who preach "Manaakitanga" tell us how we aint good enough or Māori enough and waking up to racist comments everyday takes its toll whānau 😅

So last week we decided to take on our mental health like a warrior and we joined the brothers of Tane Matua and in the words of Matua Ngarino at TE WHARE ĀIO Healing is the new sexy 👌🏽😎

Little do people know we gave up some cool lives to join our whānau in the fight against power poverty and as you could imagine it gets tough sometimes when after giving your best, it's still not enough!

We're still on our journey to gain greater resilience, we're grateful to be on the waka next to you all and we couldn't give any higher praise to the Tāne Matua movement for the mahi they do and even more stoked to have them jump on the Nau Mai Rā waka with us as we rise to 10,000‼️

The waka just got Sexier 😎🤣
