Osteopathic Natural Health offers premium osteopathic care for the whole family. Our Osteopaths are fully professionally registered ACC providers. David and Jeannie Baskeyfield (owners and Principal Osteopaths) have been caring for the community for many years. David Baskeyfield came to New Zealand from the United Kingdom in 2001 and has been providing osteopathic services to the wider community since then. David trained in London at the British School of Osteopathy and has been a senior faculty member at the New Zealand School of Osteopathy at Unitec. During this time he coordinated courses across all years, was a senior clinic tutor and examiner. As such, he has had the privilege of teaching many of the professions recent graduates. He continues to work with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand (the professions statutory regulatory body) mentoring qualified osteopaths as they enter the New Zealand profession. In 2007, David established Osteopathic Natural Health at Huapai. A few years later the practice moved to Waimauku Doctors and then, in 2011, relocated to the historic Waimauku Bakery which dates back to the 1930's and is steeped in local history. Osteopathic Natural Health has flourished and grown over the past 10 years and we have recently opened a practice in Helensville. The team of registered Osteopaths, including, Daniel Garelja and Victor Arriaza-Cantos, ensures that there is the widest possible skill and experience so that all aspects of your musculoskeletal health may be cared for by a practitioner best suited to you. In addition to general practice (in which she enjoys the challenge of the “complicated patient”) Jeannie Baskeyfield specialises in treating pregnant and new mums and loves addressing the needs of babies and children. After growing up in West Auckland, Daniel Garelja, was keen to come back to his roots and practice Osteopathy. He has a strong background in structural techniques, but is always curious and keen on learning new techniques. When Daniel is not working, he is helping out on the family farm in Kumeu, or taking up his foil and practising his fencing. Daniel is the top ranked fencer in New Zealand and is interested in sports of all kinds. He likes Osteopathy because of the range of techniques that can be used for people of all ages and how it can offer a solution unique to everyone no matter their condition. Víctor Arriaza-Cantos is originally from Spain and trained at Swansea University, UK. As a lifelong martial artist he enjoys treating sports injuries and helping the sportsperson achieve their highest potential. We are passionate about helping our community members realise their full potential in all aspects of their lives and this starts with being pain free and feeling at ease.
