I was 40 when it hit me.
💥 Angry for no reason
💤 Sleep gone
💔 Didn’t want to be touched
And I thought I was losing it.

It wasn’t until later I realised — this was perimenopause.

Change one thought — and you change everything that follows.

Try these simple reframes:
❌ “I failed” → ✅ “I learned what doesn’t work.”
❌ “I have to work out” → ✅ “I choose to move my body.”
❌ “I can’t handle this” → ✅ “I’m learning new ways to handle this.”

It’s not about pretending — it’s about retraining.
When you change your words, your brain rewires to match them.

The unconscious mind doesn’t always speak in logic — it speaks in imagery.

During a session, I asked a client to connect with what courage looked like for her.
She paused, looked uncertain, and then said softly, “Flowers.”

We explored it together — and it was perfect.
Flowers are courageous. They die back every winter and return each spring — quietly, consistently, without fear.

That’s how the unconscious mind works: offering insight in symbols, not sentences.
When we pay attention, it reveals exactly what we need to know.
