Go the AB's!!! What a result!!!

Awesome game followed by an Awesome functional workout -started with some much needed mobility and moved into lots of offset Lunges, Goblet Squats, Back , Shoulders - bit of core and I even did 3 rounds of Burpees🫨 first attempt on my post surgery ankle!
Yay for progress!!!
Start at the Beginning and Slowly, but Surely change will come ❤️❤️❤️

If you have not heard about Tom Morrison you should definitely check him out. I have been doing his mobility program following my surgery as part of my rehab - i am struggling with the fact I can't run or lift much at the moment but I am embracing the fact I can Squat down comfortably and almost raise my arm above my head. Oh and who doesn't love donuts? 😆❤️🩷🧡

Someone called me fat!!

On the INTERNET! Of all places!! 😱

It highlights a very important point though

1. I like donuts
2. Fitness is not everything.

And I truly mean that.

Donuts are incredible.

But one of the major factors that I have seen over the years holding people back from getting out of being in pain or being active at all is the belief that they have to “get fit” first or lose weight, hit a special number on the scales.

This is not how it should be!

It doesn’t matter if you get out of puff walking up the stairs or if you’re rocking the dad belly for daytime nap cuddles - MOVEMENT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!

Get super fit and lean if you want, I don’t care, you don’t impress me, I’ve done that about 20 times and will probably do it a few more times before I’m dead I’m sure.

Everyone deserves to feel strong and be able to not feel restricted by their own body.

When you have lived with chronic pain, you soon learn that a six pack isn’t as important as picking up your children.

And that is why mobility is king.
