I definitely enjoy a small treat for the feet, it makes me feel sleepy and more relaxed sometimes than a back massage.

The feet taking us everywhere we go!

Apparently we have some summer like days at the moment so just embracing the 🌞 for recovery and had a long walk in the forest. FOR REST.

Every move does count.

So does every moment we get to rest more deeply!!

I picked up the flu 🀧 while still away so my break after the weekend course, was a forced rest!

Day 4 and it's still lingering πŸ€’ and I need more rest and recovery time.

So sorry, I am needing to reschedule the rest of this week as I don't feel fit to work or want to spread this in close contact with you.

There are spots available on Wednesday and Thursday next week that we can reschedule you to.

A weekend that has...

- Helped me revisit and refine my MLD techniques

- Added techniques to apply to specific organs

- Understanding how to identify lipodema vs lymphoedema (Diagnosis is the medical practitioner and specialist scope)

- Management of conditions and educating clients for maintenance care

- Taping limbs for lymphatic flow

- Understanding compression wraps and bandages that can be used in sessions

- Understanding compression garments

I am looking forward to practicing these further.
Of course all learning, comes with time to refine and sharpen.

It is so important to eat well for learning, for recovery, for the body and brain to be supported.

Even when not massaging.

Maybe it's even more important to do so when having a break.

I'd rather have an avocado πŸ₯‘ SMASH than feel SMASHED because I haven't given myself the right amount of fuel.

I function better when fed well.
Protein and good fats πŸ‘

I am less irritable and anxious.
I have better energy later in the day.
Thinking long term over short...
