Synergy Petroleum International LLC is an Insulated Tubing (I-Tubing Factory) located in the industrial estate of Samayil, Oman. The factory was inaugurated in December 2012 for the production of vacuum insulated tubings under the patronage of HE Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi, undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas. Synergy Petroleum International is proud to be part of a recent in-country value initiative in the oil and gas sector to encourage innovation, creativity, and the development and investment in national resources, workforce, products, and services – an initiative spearheaded by HE Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi. Synergy Petroleum International aims to play an integral part in re-injecting revenues into the national economy, creating job opportunities for the national workforce, and opening wider horizons for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Creating Synergy Petroleum International is one way Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al Khalili, founder and chairman of Al Taher Group (www.altaher.com) and son of Samail, aims to develop the industry in his home estate and help the region benefit from the work opportunities offered. Moreover, as part of the factory’s corporate social responsibility as well as its commitment towards occupational health, safety, and the environment, the management of Synergy Petroleum International aspires to integrate the factory into its environment and liaise with HE the Wali of Samail, local technical colleges, sports clubs, and NGO’s. This is facilitated and supported by the willingness of Synergy Petroleum International’s partners Majus to transfer know how, train the workforce, provide specialized equipment and products, and share the results of research and innovations carried out in France, Britain, and Canada. Finally, the continuous encouragement and facilities provided by the Samail Industrial Estate authority has also played a supporting role in establishing Synergy Petroleum International. SPI has gained substantial experience in the civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation fields and has effectively and efficiently executed projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical power, water, utility and marine industries. Ultimately, SPI has been successful in establishing a reputation in quality-conscious contracting and has demonstrated prominent HSE achievements in the market. With a well-established HSE department and qualified HSE specialists both at the corporate and project level , SPI’s management has proven capable of maintaining the highest level of HSE and is firmly committed to continued improvement in HSE performance.
