Celebrating International Day of Education, and under the theme “The power of youth in co-creating education”, we honour young people using Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and innovation to strengthen institutions, and drive sustainable development.
We proudly shine a spotlight on 10 outstanding young Papua New Guinean STEM scholars who are beginning their studies at leading Australian universities through the first-of-its-kind Australia Awards Undergraduate STEM Scholarship.
These scholars represent the next generation of innovators and leaders, using STEM to drive positive change and strengthen Papua New Guinea’s future.
For many years, Papua New Guineans have pursued higher education in Australia through the Australia Awards Program, highlighting the enduring strength of the and our shared commitment to expanding access to quality education.
