Timing matters.

* PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) works best when started within 72 hours after possible HIV exposure.
* DoxyPEP (Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) may help reduce the risk of certain STIs when taken soon after exposure (Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, & Syphilis)
