The National Health Workforce Support System (NHWSS), in partnership with the Primary Care Facility of Alegria, is bringing Lung Cancer Awareness to every Barangay in Alegria! 💪💚

This initiative aims to educate our community about the importance of early detection, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices to protect our lungs. Together, we can raise awareness and take action against one of the leading causes of cancer worldwide.

🌪️ Rapid Health Assessment in Alegria After Typhoon Tino 🌪️

Today, the dedicated staff of our Primary Care Facility, along with the National Health Workforce Support System (NHWSS), visited every Barangay in Alegria with evacuation centers to conduct a Rapid Health Assessment for our evacuees. 🏥

This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the well-being and safety of all those affected by Typhoon Tino. We understand that in times like these, health concerns are just as urgent as any other, and we are here to provide immediate care and support to those in need. 💪

Thank you to all our healthcare professionals, volunteers, and the entire Alegria community for working together during this critical time. Stay strong, and let’s continue supporting each other! 🙏

The Alegria Primary Care Facility Laboratory, with our dedicated Medical Technologist Sir Dave N. Kapunan, RMT, and under the leadership of Dr. Mae T. Ravidaz, RMT, was evaluated today by the Regional Licensing and Evaluation Division (RLED) for DOH laboratory accreditation. 🧪✅

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our PDOHO-SDN DMO IV, Sir Robert J. Campana, Jr., RN, MSHA, MCHD, for his invaluable guidance, updates, and unwavering support throughout the process. 🙏

Our appreciation also goes to our NHWSS team — Ma’am Tracy I. Morales, RN, Ma’am Michelyn Alatraca, RN, and Ma’am Mafel Abigail Joy Lacsamana, RN and to our Laboratory Aid Ma'am Gemma Cabil— for their continuous encouragement and assistance. 💙

🌸 Breast Cancer Awareness Activity 🌸

In line with the celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the National Health Workforce and Support System (NHWSS) from the Primary Care Facility – Alegria conducted a series of health education sessions across the Barangays of Alegria. 💗

The activity focused on raising awareness about the signs, symptoms, management, and prevention of breast cancer — empowering the community to take proactive steps toward early detection and better health outcomes.

👩‍🦳 The beneficiaries included senior citizens, pregnant women, Barangay Health Workers, and 4Ps members, who actively participated and shared their insights during the discussions.

Through these initiatives, NHWSS and PCF Alegria continue to promote health education and preventive care — because early detection saves lives! 🎗️

📊 Data Quality Check (DQC) Activity | Alegria Primary Care Facility 🩺

The Alegria Primary Care Facility (PCF) successfully conducted its Data Quality Check (DQC) activity for TCL and M1 reports, facilitated by the dedicated Health Program Officers II from PDOHO–SDN, Ma’am Marienelle M. Go, RN and Ma’am Mimae Jane G. Mercado, RN. 👩‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

This activity aims to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of health data, which serve as vital tools in effective planning, monitoring, and decision-making for quality health service delivery. 📈💪

The Alegria PCF team extends heartfelt thanks to our mentors from PDOHO–SDN for their continuous support and technical guidance in strengthening data management practices. ❤️

The dedicated staff of Alegria Primary Care Facility conducted a Mental Health Awareness across the different Barangays of Alegria. This activity aimed to emphasize the importance of mental health for everyone and to increase awareness on various mental health conditions and their proper management.

The advocacy reached and benefited our Barangay Health Workers, pregnant women, 4Ps members, and senior citizens, who actively participated and showed great interest in learning more about taking care of their mental well-being.

Together, let’s continue to promote understanding, compassion, and support for mental health in our community. 💚
