Lamut, Ifugao โ The Ifugao Police Provincial Director PCOL MARVIN S DIPLAT announced this morning of December 14, 2023 the seizure of two (2) pcs transparent heat-sealed plastic sachet suspected to be shabu, seventeen (17) pieces of dried leaves and fruiting tops of suspected ma*****na bricks, ten (10) pieces elongated form of suspected dried ma*****na leaves and fruiting tops including the arrest of four (4) high value target drug suspects following a buy-bust operation in Poblacion East, Lamut, Ifugao.
The suspects are four male individuals from Poblacion, Cabanatuan City with ages 26, 29, 22 and 19 years old.
Police report showed that joint operatives of Lamut MPS (lead unit) together with Ifugao PDEU, PIU, 1501st MC RMFB 15, 1st IPMFC, Kalinga PDEU, RIU-14 and PDEA Ifugao conducted buy-bust/entrapment operation in front of Lamut Cemetery located at Poblacion East, Lamut, Ifugao that led to the arrest of the suspects and the confiscations of drug evidence with an estimated overall total of Php 3,321,600.00 and other non-drug evidence.
Photographs, markings, and inventory of the recovered pieces of evidence were done on-site in the presence of the arrested suspects duly witnessed by Mr. James P Rodolfo Sr., Mr. Robert Huliganga who are both Barangay Officials of Poblacion East, Lamut Ifugao and Mr. Christian P Quilon, Media representative. Seized items suspected to be shabu will be turned over to Ifugao Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis and confirmatory test.
The arrested drug suspects will be charged with violation of sections 5 (selling) and 11 (possession) under Article II of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 as amended by RA 10640.
