Earlier today at Serene Mountain Crest, the kitchen was filled with the sweet aroma of freshly baked treats — and even sweeter smiles.

Our residents gathered for a baking class, carefully measuring ingredients, mixing with excitement, and sharing little stories in between. Some talked about the cakes they used to bake for their children. Others laughed about their “secret recipes” from long ago.

There was flour on the table, happy chatter in the room, and proud smiles as they watched their creations rise in the oven. With gentle guidance from our caregivers, everyone felt involved, capable, and accomplished.

Moments like this remind us that joy has no age.
