😂 “Universe, ano ‘to? Trial version ng buhay ko?!”

Last month, habang naka-scooter ako like a main character sa low-budget K-drama,
napataas talaga boses ko sa Universe:

“Talaga, Universe?
Pumayag ako sa ganitong soul contract?
At mangyayari ba talaga lahat ’to sa iisang lifetime?!
Grabe naman ’to oh…”

Feeling ko ’di ko nabasa ’yung fine print.
Baka nasa likod nakasulat:

✨ Plot twists every quarter
✨ Lessons from rock bottom
✨ Surprise character development
✨ And one (1) existential crisis per week

Like…
HELLO???
Wala bang “easy mode” dito?
Or kahit pwede bang mag-pause muna? 😭😂

Pero ayun, habang rumaragasa ako sa 40 kph
(kasi may humps, syempre), bigla kong na-realize:

Baka kailangan ko talaga ’tong chapter na ’to.
Para raw maging ‘best version’ ko.
Ugh. Fine.”

So yeah, Universe…
sige na, bring it on.
I’ll finish this chapter.
