Our residents Dr. Erica Aragon and Dr. Alexxi Dosono went to Rajavithi Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand for their Temporal Bone Course earlier this month. Rajavithi Hospital is one of the largest government teaching hospitals in Thailand.

What a week for our alumnae and active staff!

Dr. Jackie Coronado's paper on the "Profile and Management of Foreign Body Ingestion Patients Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic at a Tertiary Government Hospital" was published and featured in the recent edition of Philippine Journal of ORL-HNS. Co-authored by Dr. Erie Imperial.

Dr. Sugar Agbones-Elegado's case report "Partial Glossectomy in an 8-Year-Old with an Isolated Lingual Lymphangioma" was presented in poster form in the recent 10th Asia-Pacific Pediatric Otolaryngology Society Conference held in Seoul, South Korea. This was one of her interesting cases during her fellowship at the Philippine Children's Medical Center. Together with her were her mentors at PCMC.

On to the next (set!) of papers to be published! ✍️✍️✍️

FEES is Functional Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing and is part of the work-up for dysphagia (budlayan mag tulon). We would like to thank these experts on the field of swallowing and dysphagia - Dr. Daryl Del Mundo Madrid and Speech Language Pathologist Ms. Hia Lecaroz-Delfinado for sharing to us their expertise and experiences.

We would also like to thank those who graced the course and we look forward to working with each other as swallowing and dysphagia often entails multi-disciplinary management.
