Damgo! Located in Silay City and more than a café for those interested in coffee, art, and creativity, they have become a beloved watering-hole for the community, embedded in its cultural ethos and identity. It is a neutral, open, welcoming space in the neighborhood, where personal and social connections are formed, local advocacies are supported and creativity, ideas and inspirations flourish for now seven years.

They join the 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗛𝗜𝗩𝗮𝘁𝗲 campaign as a 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿, over a simple stance: compassion over judgment, education over fear, presence over silence. They believe HIV is not a distant issue, but a personal one; that awareness saves lives, but compassion sustains them; and that behind every diagnosis is a person who deserves to live with dignity, care, and love. Thank you for committing to help address these health crises impacting our nation, especially our youth. It's truly a dream come true to work alongside you 💫🎗️

𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗛𝗜𝗩𝗮𝘁𝗲 is more than honored to introduce to you our guest speaker at next Friday's seminar: Mx. Benny Guzon❣️

A graduate of the Technological University of the Philippines with a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, he currently serves as the Community Mobilizing Officer at Bagani Community Center by LoveYourself, a DOH-accredited primary care facility in the Negros Island Region. As a committed advocate for HIV/AIDS and s*xual health, he collaborates with universities, local government units, and private organizations to advance inclusive and stigma-free health services. Catch him next week when he starts a respectful and transparent dialogue on the science of safe s*x and connects us with local s*xual health resources and services providers!

Our sister campaign, Patron of the Dolls, will be hosting a series of creative working sessions at FDCP Cinematheque Negros every Saturday for trans women, transfems, femme non-binary people, and more 🩵🩷🤍

A true cause is an intersectional one, so let's show some love for our q***r sisters for a future that makes equal space for everyone, regardless of status or gender 💗

Our friends at L-Word Avenue just dropped a fact about important q***r history, and how le****ns showed up for gay men during the AIDS epidemic. When government inaction caused massive destruction to the q***r community, le****ns showed up and showed out, lending more than just a helping hand 🩷

They may put the L in LGBTQIA+, but they took such a massive W! Give them a follow! 🎗️♥️🚍🩷🧡

☑️ Fact Check Friday!

Did you know that the L in + comes first for a reason? In the 1980s, during the height of the AIDS epidemic and the unrest surrounding it, le****ns stepped up to care for gay men in need; donating blood, organizing support networks, and showing up in countless tangible ways. Across America, le****ns formed groups like the Blood Sisters to coordinate blood drives and provide support.

When some healthcare workers refused contact with AIDS patients out of fear and stigma, le****ns were not afraid to step in and offer compassion when no one else would. It stands in stark contrast to how le***an women had often been treated prior to the crisis—frequently sidelined or turned away from q***r spaces they were equally part of.
