Was an advocate of this since my residency days at the Philippine Orthopedic Center.To this day, we advice our elderly patients’ households to build something like this. Railings around the toilet bowl and the bath, floors/tiles should be non-slip, floors should be flat, no elevated areas ,sliding doors rather than swing doors for easy accessibility, railings on the hallway..This is highly recommended if you have octogenarians at home to lessen falls.
