Preparedness in action at Metro Balayan Medical Center 💙

Our team came together for a hands-on Malignant Hyperthermia Simulation & Interactive Drill, strengthening early recognition, rapid response, teamwork, and patient safety. Every drill brings us one step closer to saving more lives.

Thank you to all anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and hospital personnel who participated and made this learning experience meaningful and impactful. 👏

(Part 2) At Metro Balayan Medical Center, we celebrate the women who nurture, heal, and inspire our community every day. 🌸

Our Women’s Month celebration began with a Holy Mass, followed by informative discussions on Breast Cancer Awareness, Cervical Cancer prevention, and Breastfeeding—empowering women through knowledge and care.

To end the celebration, roses were lovingly given to the women among our staff, patients, and relatives—a small gesture to honor their strength, resilience, and invaluable role in our lives.

Empowering our new healthcare professionals with knowledge, safety, and responsibility.
Last February 26, 2026, Metro Balayan Medical Center conducted a Comprehensive Orientation for New Staff, aimed at strengthening knowledge, safety awareness, and quality healthcare practices within the hospital.
The orientation covered important topics including:
• Infection Prevention and Control
• Healthcare Waste Management
• 7S, Safety and Health in the Workplace
• Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital & Workplace
• Fire Safety Awareness
• Understanding Data Privacy
• Roles of the Infection Control Nurse, Pollution Control Officer, and Safety Officer
Through this activity, MBMC continues its commitment to building a competent, responsible, and patient-centered healthcare team, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.💙🏥

(Part 3) In celebration of Metro Balayan Medical Center’s 10th Year Anniversary, we conducted a mental health seminar entitled:
“Behind the Smile: Understanding Teen Depression and Anxiety”
Held today, February 24, at Balayan National High School, the seminar aimed to raise awareness about teen depression and anxiety, helping students better understand their emotions, struggles, and the importance of seeking support.
We were honored to have 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗗. 𝗡𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲, 𝗥𝗣𝗵, 𝗠𝗗 – Registered Psychiatrist, as our speaker, who shared valuable insights on recognizing warning signs, breaking stigma, and promoting mental wellness among adolescents.
As we celebrate a decade of excellence in healthcare, Metro Balayan Medical Center remains committed not only to physical health but also to the mental well-being of our community.
