As part of the observance of Fire Prevention Month, Dr. Victoria B. Roman Memorial High School successfully conducted a Fire Drill to strengthen the preparedness and safety awareness of our students, teaching, and non-teaching personnel. This activity was made possible through the assistance and guidance of the Bureau of Fire Protection – Pilar Fire Station (BFP R3).

We extend our sincere gratitude to the BFP personnel SFO3 Norvi D. Gracia, SFO1 Aldrin I. Magno, SFO1 Junell J. Juan and FO2 Michael Bryan D. Mina for sharing their expertise and helping our school community learn the proper response during fire emergencies. In support of the Department of Education’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) initiatives and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), Dr. Victoria B. Roman Memorial High School actively participated in the Fourth Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held on November 6, 2025.

The activity aimed to enhance the preparedness and awareness of learners, teachers, and non-teaching personnel in responding to earthquake emergencies. Prior to the drill, orientation and reminders were given to all participants regarding proper “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedures, evacuation routes, and designated assembly areas.

Super Typhoon Uwan affected various areas across the region; however, Dr. Victoria B. Roman Memorial High School reported no damages, casualties, or untoward incidents within the school premises. The school remained safe and secure throughout the duration of the typhoon.
