Ano nga ba ang pinagkaiba ng Mucolytics, Expectorant, at Antitussive na gamot sa ubo.

Pag ang ubo ay maplema
pwede kaang gumamit ng Mucolytics o Expectorant.

Ang Mucolytic ay may kayang tunawin ang matitigas at malapot na plema para mas mabilis itong mailabas.
-Ambroxol
-Carbocisteine
-N-Acetylcysteine

Ang Expectorant ay may kayang maglabas ng plema na hirap na mailabas.
-Guafenesin

Kung Dry naman ang ubo o walang plema dito naman ginagamit ang Antitussive, lalo na kung masakit na ang lalamunan kakaubo. Kaya nitong pigilan ang bigla biglang pag ubo o cough reflex.
-Dextromethorphan
-Butamirate Citrate

Maaari ring magsipsip ng medicated Lozenge para mabawasan ang discomfort na dulot ng dry cough para mag produce ng laway sa bibig. Nakakatulong ito para hindi matuyo ang lalamunan at mabawasan ang dalas ng pag-ubo.
Uminom ng madaming tubig para mabawasan ang panunuyo ng lalamunan o tsaa o tubig na may honey.

Paalala: Ito ay pagbahagi lamang ng kaalaman at ugaliin pa rin kumonsulta sa iyong doktor bago uminom o gumamit ng kahit na anong gamot.
