Floss Daily.
Love Wisely.
Care for Your Heart Consistently. ❤️😁

Because we care about you - this Valentine’s season — and we don’t want you to forget that it’s also Philippine Heart Month and National Dental Health Month.

Let’s celebrate with a little precaution on the side. 😅

Good oral hygiene and heart health have something in common:
they both rely on daily habits, not once-a-year attention.

Brushing and flossing help reduce harmful bacteria that can affect not just your teeth and gums, but your overall health.
Choosing balanced meals, staying active, and managing stress protect your heart in the long run.

Real love? 🥰
It starts with taking care of yourself first.

So this Valentine’s season, don’t forget to give your heart and your smile the consistent care they deserve. 💙

🦷 February is National Dental Health Month

This year's theme is:
“Dentista’y Kaagapay sa Ngiting Walang Humpay”

A healthy smile is not just about regular dental visits — it’s also shaped by what we eat every day.

Good nutrition plays a quiet but powerful role in protecting our teeth and gums. The food and drinks we choose can either support strong enamel and healthy gums or increase the risk of tooth decay over time.

This National Dental Health Month, we recognize that dentists are our partners in maintaining oral health — and nutrition is part of that partnership. When we nourish our bodies well, we also protect the smiles that help us communicate, connect, and show confidence at work and in life.

We believe that true wellness includes oral health — because every healthy workplace deserves a 𝑵𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒖𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒚.

February is 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 ❤️
Reminder: Your Heart Listens to What You Eat ❤️

Heart health isn’t built overnight — it’s shaped by everyday food choices. Research continues to show that diets rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, fish, and healthy fats are linked to a lower risk of heart disease and longer life. These findings reinforce a simple truth we often forget: 𝒑𝒂𝒈𝒌𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒑𝒂 𝒓𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒐𝒈 𝒏𝒂 𝒑𝒖𝒔𝒐.

In the Filipino setting, this means enjoying more 𝒈𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒚, 𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒂, 𝒑𝒓𝒖𝒕𝒂𝒔 and whole foods while being mindful of excess salt, sugar, and highly processed items that slowly strain the heart. Small, consistent choices — made at home, at work, and even in office cafeteria or 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒂 — add up over time.

❤️This Heart Month, let nutrition be part of how we care not just for our hearts, but for the people who depend on them. 💚

As we close the first month of the year, it’s a good time to pause and reflect—not on what didn’t happen, but on the small habits that quietly took shape.

Health and performance are built through consistency, not perfection. January may have been about adjusting, recalibrating, or simply getting back into a routine—and that, in itself, is progress.

"𝑾𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅𝒍𝒚 𝒅𝒐. 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏, 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒕"*

As a new month begins, this is an opportunity to strengthen what already works. One mindful food choice, one intentional break, one sustainable habit at a time.

New month. New opportunities. Sustainable habits forward.

𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐲𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲'𝐬 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧

You may have seen recent discussions around the updated U.S. food guide, which now places a stronger emphasis on 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬, 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞—a big shift from the traditional food pyramid (which has long been replaced by My Plate) many of us grew up with.

While these changes can feel profound (especially given how influential U.S. guidelines have been globally), it’s important to remember that nutrition guidance is intended for the general population (in this context - the US population).

📍 In the Philippine context, we are guided by:
▪️Pinggang Pinoy (FNRI-DOST)
▪️Nutritional Guidelines for Filipinos (NGF)

These are specifically designed based on 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬, 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬.

As new international guidelines emerge, the key is not confusion—but proper interpretation. This is where consulting a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND) and relying on science-backed information from registered healthcare professionals becomes essential, especially in workplace health programs.

💡 For organizations, the goal isn’t to chase every new trend—but to equip the members with accurate, relevant, and practical nutrition knowledge that truly supports daily performance, well-being, and long-term health.

Because informed teams make healthier choices—one meal at a time.

Returning to the office after the holidays often means adjusting back to long workdays, increased coffee intake, and, at times, skipped meals.

There is no need for restrictive dieting to “compensate.” What matters more is maintaining 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 to restore energy, focus, and work performance.

When nutrition is well-supported during the workday, employees experience fewer energy crashes, improved mental clarity, and higher productivity. This highlights the importance of 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭—practical, realistic, and aligned with the realities of Filipino work environments.

At Thrive360 Nutrition Solutions, we help organizations make healthier everyday choices more accessible for employees—supporting both well-being and performance.
