Here are examples of poor attitudes a spa therapist might show toward their colleagues and boss
Towards the Boss (Management)
Insubordination and Disrespect: Openly defying spa policies, rolling their eyes during meetings, talking back, or using a dismissive or rude tone when speaking with a manager.
Resistance to Feedback: Becoming defensive, argumentative, or shutting down when a manager provides constructive criticism or coaching. They may act like they know better or refuse to try new methods.
Lack of Accountability: Blaming others (colleagues, front desk staff, or even clients) for their own mistakes, such as running late, booking errors, or receiving a client complaint.
Constant Complaining: Regularly complaining about scheduling, pay, or policies in an unproductive way (e.g., in the breakroom) instead of bringing concerns to management with potential solutions.
