Once I was a smoker,
Chained to the habit,
But I knew it was time to break free,
And quit for good.

The ni****ne craved me,
But I knew it was time to say goodbye,
I took a deep breath and let it go,
And I felt alive again.

The smoke I once enjoyed,
Now made me feel sick and old,
I quit smoking and I feel alive,
I'm grateful to be free.

The habit was hard to break,
But I didn't give up or fake,
I quit smoking and I feel proud,
I'm grateful to be free.

I no longer crave the ni****ne,
And I feel better than I ever did,
I quit smoking and I feel alive,
I'm grateful to be free.

So if you're a smoker,
Don't be afraid to quit,
You'll feel better than you ever did,
And you'll be grateful you did.

Smoking Kills

A flicker of fire, a wisp of smoke,
A habit begun with a casual joke.
Inhaled deeply, a calming breath,
Not sensing yet the taste of death.

With every puff, with every drag,
The body weakens, starts to sag.
Lungs once fresh, now tarred and torn,
Life's vitality slowly worn.

It steals the voice, it clouds the eye,
Turns healthy pink to ashen sky.
In tiny sparks, the life it steals,
A hidden pain no cure heals.

Friends and family plead, they cry,
But smoke-bound fingers can’t deny.
A siren’s call that lures and wins,
Binding tightly, like deadly sins.

Put out the flame, don’t take the chance,
Break free now, escape the trance.
For life’s too short, too dear, too grand—
Let go of smoke, take life in hand.
