Psychosocial Support for CSUCC Students Affected by the Mindanao Earthquake

In light of the recent magnitude 7.4 earthquake that impacted many communities in Mindanao, the Office of the Counseling & Career Services is offering free psychosocial support services to all Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus students who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, or emotional distress.

Empowering CSUCC Faculty & Staff: RACE Against Su***de: A Gatekeeper Training for Su***de Prevention in Schools

Last August 20, 2025, CSUCC Office of the Counseling and Career Services took a big step towards fostering a mentally healthy environment with a one-day training on mental health awareness and crisis management. The gatekeeper training was led by Nova E. Estenzo, RGC and Donald Jasper U. Madrona, RGC. The event focused on equipping faculty and staff with the tools to better support students and address mental health crises, especially su***de prevention.

The training concluded with one of the significant workshops on Su***de Crisis Response, where participants created real-world scenarios using the School Crisis Management Team (SCMT) framework. This hands-on approach helped everyone understand the crucial steps in managing a crisis—from prevention to recovery—ensuring that the university remains a safe, responsive space for all.

Together, we’re building a compassionate community where mental health matters, and every member is equipped to make a difference.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

CSUCC Office of the Counseling and Career Services in partnership with DOLE and PESO will be conducting a JOB FAIR on April 24, 2025, from 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M at CSUCC Gymnasium.

This event is open to all our CSUCC graduating students, Alumni and interested applicants.

Steps for the upcoming Job Fair:

1. Fill out the Pre-Registration Form through this link:

2. Fill out the NSRP Form (can be secured at the venue)

6. Exit & Evaluation

REMINDER:

1. Wear your most comfortable corporate attire.

3. Bring your own ballpen.
4. You may bring a tumbler or bottle for water refill.
5. Please be on time.
