Ang DJNRMHS Department of Dermatology ay buong pusong lumahok sa Psoriasis Walk 2025, na ginanap noong Oktubre 26, 2025, sa Andalucia Sports Complex, Sta. Cruz, Maynila. Ang kaganapang ito ay inorganisa ng Psoriasis Philippines (PsorPhil) sa pakikipagtulungan ng Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS), na may temang “Stop the Domino Effect.” Layunin ng kampanyang ito na palawakin ang kamalayan tungkol sa mga pisikal, emosyonal, at sosyal na epekto ng psoriasis, habang hinihikayat ang maagang pagsusuri, tamang paggamot, at malasakit sa loob ng komunidad.

Nagsimula ang araw sa isang masiglang parada at paglalakad sa paligid ng sports complex. Dumalo rito ang mga kinatawan mula sa iba’t ibang departamento ng dermatology, mga grupo ng adbokasiya, at mga organisasyon ng pasyente, na nagpakita ng mga malikhaing headgear na sumasalamin sa tema ng adbokasiyang ito.

Ipinagmamalaki ng DJNRMHS Psoriasis Club ang kanilang mga natamong parangal sa nasabing kaganapan. Ang mga pasyente ng Psoriasis Club ay kinilala sa kanilang pagkamalikhain, matapos masungkit ang Best Reel Award para sa “Domino Diaries,” isang digital storytelling project na naglalarawan ng katatagan at lakas ng mga taong may psoriasis. Samantala, sina Dr. Ma. Princess Alloue V. Gonzales at Dr. May G. Silva ay ginawaran ng Patient’s Choice Awards, bilang pagkilala sa kanilang malasakit at dedikasyon sa pangangalaga sa mga pasyente. Dagdag pa rito, nakamit din ng DJNRMHS Dermatology Team ang 1st Runner-Up sa Zumba Competition, bilang patunay ng kanilang sigla, pagkakaisa, at pagpupunyagi sa pagsusulong ng kalusugan at kabutihang pangkatawan.

Ang Psoriasis Walk 2025 ay isang makahulugang at masayang kaganapan na muling nagpatibay sa kahalagahan ng kamalayan, pag-unawa, at suporta ng komunidad para sa mga taong may psoriasis. Paalala ito na sa patuloy na pagtutulungan ng mga propesyonal sa kalusugan at mga pasyente, maaari nating makamit ang isang hinaharap na walang stigma at puno ng pag-asa.
