When Jayveen first joined Functional Futures, sessions came with lots of crying and big feelings. Today? He’s showing up with confidence, improved attention and focus, better direction-following, and growing fine motor skills—and he’s actually enjoying his work.

Taminah’s Learning Progress⭐️

Taminah continues to show steady improvement in her pre writing skills. She is attentive, cooperative, and motivated during activities. Through tracing straight, slanted, and curved lines, she is developing fine motor control, visual motor integration, and pencil stability. Her growing focus, effort, and confidence highlight strong foundations for early writing readiness.

Amarah’s Learning Progress

Amarah has shown significant improvement in her learning skills. She is attentive, cooperative, and eager to participate in learning activities. She can identify pictures and accurately repeat descriptive words. Using flashcards, Amarah is able to match a word-only card to a flashcard that contains both a picture and its corresponding word, demonstrating improved word recognition and understanding. Her focus, effort, and positive attitude truly stand out. We are very proud of her progress and growing confidence in learning.

Faizan did an amazing job! He showed excellent compliance by following instructions and cooperating consistently in every task presented.

We engaged in a variety of fun and meaningful fine motor activities that targeted hand strength, grasp, and finger dexterity, along with eye–hand coordination tasks to support his visual-motor integration.

Faizan remained focused, motivated, and eager to participate throughout the session—such wonderful progress! Keep up the great work, Faizan! We’re so proud of you!

Hard work + a little motivation = cookies!

Liam has been doing such a great job with his tasks, so he earned a fun reward — getting hands-on in the kitchen, something he truly enjoys. Using just three ingredients and an air fryer, he made yummy oatmeal peanut butter cookies!

So proud of his effort… and the sweet results!

Sam’s Speech Win!

From struggling with choice-making and yes/no responses, Sam has made amazing progress through focused speech-language intervention. Today, she can now answer yes/no questions and express comments and labels using sentences—a big step in her expressive and functional communication.

Move & Stretch Day with Hezekiah

Through stretching, balance, and coordinated movement, Hezekiah boosted his gross motor skills, focus, and direction-following while releasing muscle tension.
