DOUBLET EARTHQUAKE, NARANASAN SA DAVAO; RARE EVENT AYON SA PHIVOLCS ⚠️

EARTHQUAKE UPDATE: Ang dalawang malakas na lindol (magnitude 7.4 at 6.8) na tumama sa Davao Oriental ngayong Oktubre 10, 2025, ay maaaring isang "doublet earthquake"—isang bihirang pangyayari na may dalawang magkahiwalay ngunit magkasunod at magkalapit na lindol na halos pareho ang lakas, ayon sa PHIVOLCS.

Sanhi ito ng pressure o stress sa mga fault o trench, tulad ng Philippine Trench. Kabilang sa mga katulad na pangyayari ang mga lindol sa Hinatuan noong 2023 at sa Manay noong 1992.
