The Samar Center for Developmental Pediatrics is opening registration for children needing speech therapy services.

📌Only 12 children per batch
📌In-person registration only — no phone calls will be accepted
📌Waitlisting will begin once slots are filled
📌8am - 5pm (First come, first served basis)

📌Requirements:
1. Parent’s PhilHealth ID (If not a member, provide 2 valid IDs)
2. Child’s Birth Certificate

From the lively parade to engaging seminars, fun games, interactive play areas, arts and crafts, and powerful parent sharing sessions, every moment reflects our community’s united stand for inclusion.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, partners, and families who made this day possible. Special thanks to the DepEd SNED Coordinator, Catbalogan 1 SPED Center, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, and the Provincial Youth Development Office for your invaluable support and collaboration. Your presence made all the difference.

In celebration of 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 and the 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥, the Samar Center for Developmental Pediatrics, in partnership with 𝑶𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚, successfully conducted Medical and Dental Missions for children with developmental delays in Calbayog City and Paranas, Samar.

Our team of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists provided free Developmental Screenings, making essential services accessible to families in distant towns.

Today, the Samar Center for Developmental Pediatrics, with the support of the Samar Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, hosted a parent meeting that led to the formation of the 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒓 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝑪𝒊𝒓𝒄𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 (SPCI) — a parent-led organization dedicated to supporting families of children with special needs and disabilities.

We’re honored to witness the beginning of a community built on empathy, empowerment, and inclusion.
