Nothing, and no one, can thwart God’s plan for His children. God’s covenant assures this. God’s character of faithfulness and trustworthiness assures this. God’s zeal for the glory of His name will accomplish this for we bear His name.
The enemy of our souls may wreak havoc using people and circumstances to confuse, distract, cause fear and derail God’s plan but in the end, the results have already been established. The time is already set. God remains sovereign and in control, and He has our best interest at heart. His promises remain a yes. Jesus’ victory remains ours waiting to unfold.
Rest in this truth. Nothing can thwart and stop God’s plan and purpose for us and it will redound to God’s glory. As we wait, learn the lessons of competence and character. Draw near to God for strength and faith. Keep on pursuing the treasure that is Jesus, the knowledge and intimacy of His presence and the fellowship and power of His Spirit.
