This Christmas 2025, I want to pause and express my deepest gratitude to the people who make my life and work so meaningful.

To my family and friends: thank you for your love, support, and constant presence in my life. You are my strength in busy moments, my comfort in challenging times, and my greatest joy in everyday life. The World Health Organization (WHO) has released its first guideline on the use of GLP-1 therapies for treating obesity in adults. Obesity currently affects more than 1 billion people globally — a number projected to double by 2030, according to WHO. The organization defines obesity as having a BMI of 30 or higher in adults aged more than 19 years.
