What are your plans this long holiday weekend? 💭

Many people neglect their health because they are overwhelmed with the demands of their lives. More often than not, we take a reactionary approach to our health. Often finding cure than preventing these illnesses to occur.

Ignoring and skipping annual health screening is like allowing children to skip washing their hands just because they don't see any germs.

It is important to be proactive about our health and get the recommended screenings, especially if there is a family history of certain diseases.

These screenings can help detect diseases early and determine the risk of developing certain illnesses.

They usually involve drawing blood or conducting a physical exam. It is important to talk to your doctor about which screenings you need and when you should get them, as early detection can greatly improve treatment outcomes.

This long weekend 💝, give yourself, or your loved ones, your significant others, your family, and friends a better activity than being sedentary and enjoying that sweets that will melt away into their bloodstream. Give them the gift of health!
