Systematic training is vital to finish a 70.3 IronMan. For the majority of 1st timers, finishing the event is already something worth calling a major accomplishment.

Experienced athletes know that it takes years and several attempts to land on the podium. With so many competitors, finishing as one of the top 3 athletes in your age group is not really a top priority especially for 1st timers, but certainly not for our very own Casey Uy.

Casey or " Pipay " knows how to set realistic goals and has the discipline needed to achieve her goals.

Casey knows her strengths and weaknesses. She has enough confidence to ensure that she can deliver a magnificent performance and at the same time has just the right amount of humility to remind herself that anything is possible and to keep herself grounded during race day.

Earlier Today, history has been made as Casey managed to finish Top 2 ( Age Group ) during the Alveo IronMan 70.3 Davao.

Many Dipolognons have joined the IronMan 70.3 race for several times already and no one has ever landed on the podium... until today.

With her remarkable achievement in the world of triathlon, we believe that Casey best represents how sporty Dipolognons are and why we deserve to become the Sports Capital of the South.

From your team and Dipolog as a whole,

The Tour of Matabungkay is often dubbed as the most challenging cycling event of the country. The race has several stages and participants from all over the world must give their best to earn points during each stage.

We are so happy because 2 of our teammates made it to the Top 20 during Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the event.
