Tuberculosis (TB) is a highly curable disease and treatment is readily available nationwide in public health facilities for FREE. Yet, TB persists as one of the topmost killers among all infectious diseases in the Philippines (WHO 2019).

Two-thirds of all TB globally was attributed to just eight countries with the highest burdens: India, Indonesia, China, the Philippines, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh and, South Africa.https://apps.who.int/iris/bitstream/handle/10665/342703/9789240027053-eng.pdf

COVID-19 has overshadowed other health programs that have been long-standing and significantly creating impact, especially the national program of the Philippines against Tuberculosis (TB). Help us bring back on track TB awareness.
