JOINT STATEMENT OF THE 49 SCHOOLS OF THE CONGREGATION OF THE RELIGIOUS OF THE VIRGIN MARY (RVM)

We, the 49 schools of the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM), stand united as one Ignacian Marian community in solidarity with the Archbishop of Manila, the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), and the Conference of Major Superiors in the Philippines, in their collective call for moral transformation and good governance in our beloved nation.

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, the International Day of Peace, we enjoin all RVM administrators, faculty and staff, parents, alumni, and Ignacian Marian learners to wear WHITE as a visible and peaceful expression of our shared advocacy for truth, justice, transparency, and accountability.

This day is not only a global celebration of peace but also a sacred moment of faith, unity, and solidarity for the Filipino people. In a time when our nation longs for renewal, we turn to the wisdom of Scripture:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” (Proverbs 9:10)

True wisdom calls us to reject corruption and deceit, and to walk the path that leads to the fullness of life in Christ—a path marked by integrity, compassion, and peace.

Guided by our 1726 Rules and Constitutions, which uphold prayerful discipline, inclusive formation, and shared governance, we reaffirm our commitment to live out the Ignacian Marian spirituality of humble service for the transformation of society. As Mother Ignacia del Espíritu Santo taught her companions in times of trial:

“Where silence is observed, fervor is maintained.”

In today’s challenges, this call reminds us to resist the noise of injustice and remain steadfast in faith, allowing our inner convictions to fuel collective action for truth and reform.

We encourage all members of our school communities to actively participate in parish or organizational mobilizations and to give public witness to our mission of forming persons of faith for service.
May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Assumption, and Mother Ignacia del Espíritu Santo continue to illumine our path as we journey together in faith, hope, and love for our country.

✦ National Ignacian Marian Youth Camp 2025

Theme: Ignacian Marian Youth Pilgrims of Hope, Living God’s Grace in Jubilation

The third and final day of the National Ignacian Marian Youth Camp 2025 at St. Mary’s College, Inc., Quezon City highlighted both fellowship and faith, as Ignacian Marian delegates from Luzon, Visayas, and Northern and Southern Mindanao came together for the camp’s culminating activities.

The morning was filled with energy as participants joined the 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞, a series of stations designed to foster teamwork, creativity, and the Marian spirit of joyful service. Laughter and camaraderie echoed throughout the campus as each group raced together, strengthening bonds formed during the camp. In the afternoon, the community gathered for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The Mass served as a reminder that every journey of faith begins and ends with God, and that the light of Christ continues to guide the youth in their mission as pilgrims of hope.

As the camp drew to a close, delegates carried home not only memories but also a renewed purpose — to let their light shine and to remain pilgrims of hope in their own communities. 🌟

The delegates were accompanied by S. Maria Marife Liezel Novino, RVM (School Christian Formation Coordinator), Mr. Angelo L. Yumul (School Student Activity Coordinator), and Mr. John Paul Santiago (Student Council Moderator).

The delegates from St. Mary’s Academy of Guagua extend their heartfelt gratitude to their ever-supportive Directress-Principal, S. Ma. Lorina A. Jumawan, RVM, and to the RVM Sisters, whose unwavering dedication continues to guide and inspire them to grow as servant leaders grounded in faith, love, and service. 💙

Through the treasured archives of the 𝗥𝗩𝗠 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅, the participants were given the gift of looking back at the remarkable journey of Mother Ignacia del Espíritu Santo. Her life, rooted in humility, faith, and unwavering trust in God, continues to inspire generations of youth and the entire Ignacian Marian Family.

Her story is not just history — it is a living testimony of courage, perseverance, and love for God’s mission. By walking through her legacy preserved in the archives, they are reminded that true greatness is found in service, sacrifice, and a heart that seeks God above all.

💙🙏 May this glimpse into Mother Ignacia’s life strengthen the Ignacian Marians’ calling to live with faith, hope, and love as they carry forward her mission in today’s world.

📌 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 | 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 — 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝟮

Day 2 of the camp was a celebration of life, light, and togetherness. From the warm welcome of our leaders to the sessions, tours, and fellowship, every moment was a reminder that we are called to live with faith, humility, and joy as one Ignacian Marian Family.

✨ “If there is obedience, there is trust.”
✨ “You are the soul to the earth, light of the world.”
✨ “You are loved beyond measure.”
✨ “Be led by the dreams in your heart.”

The timeless words of The Little Prince also echoed in our hearts:
“The most beautiful things can’t be seen or touched but felt in the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye.” 💙

💡 Rev. Mother reminded us:
“Within each of you, burns a unique radiant light. You bring light to your families and communities with your enthusiasm and God-given gifts. You carry on with your pilgrimage knowing in your heart that you do so with God’s grace. God’s grace is a freely given gift out of love, empowering you and illuminating your way. The grace of God lights your way, allows you to see and be seen, and enables you to connect with others on your shared journey. Unlike fireflies, you have the capacity to thrive amidst changing times and light up the world. Let your lights combine and create a breathtaking display of joy, communion, and shared purpose.” ✨

Truly, Day 2 was not just about activities but about encounters with God, with one another, and with our shared mission. From the Synodal Walk and Mother House Tour ending with fellowship, praise, and worship, we lived out the theme of the camp:

✨ 𝘋𝘢𝘺 1 began with the arrival of participants at the ICB Campus, followed by a shared dinner that fostered fellowship. The evening continued with the Opening Liturgy and GTKY activity, and closed with the touching prayer “Good Night, Sweet Jesus!” led by the 𝐑𝐕𝐌 𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. 💙

A meaningful start to our journey of 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡, 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, and 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲. 🌟

Eleven (11) delegates of St. Mary’s Academy of Guagua are headed to the National Ignacian Marian Youth Camp 2025, hosted by St. Mary’s College of Quezon City.

Together with the Student Activity Coordinator, Mr. Angelo L. Yumul, and Student Council Moderator, Mr. John Paul R. Santiago, the Marian youth leaders bring with them the spirit of faith, excellence, and service as they gather with fellow Ignacian Marian students from across the country.

This year’s celebration was more than just an event it was a living testimony of how 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉, 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚, and 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 can come together to transform lives. From inspiring talks and uplifting performances to meaningful encounters and shared stories, every moment became a reminder of God’s presence in the beauty of media and community. ✨

Through the collaboration of passionate individuals, 𝐉𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐌 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐑 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 has shown that communication is not simply about sharing information, but about spreading 💛 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞. As we look back on the highlights of this year’s fair, may we continue to embrace our mission of using media as a bridge to connect hearts and draw people closer to God. 🙏

A Prayer for our Earth

All-powerful God, you are present in the whole universe and in the smallest of your creatures. You embrace with your tenderness all that exists. Pour out upon us the power of your love, that we may protect life and beauty. Fill us with peace, that we may live as brothers and sisters, harming no one.

O God of the poor, help us to rescue the abandoned and forgotten of this earth, so precious in your eyes. Bring healing to our lives, that we may protect the world and not prey on it, that we may sow beauty, not pollution and destruction.

Touch the hearts of those who look only for gain at the expense of the poor and the earth. Teach us to discover the worth of each thing, to be filled with awe and contemplation, to recognize that we are profoundly united with every creature as we journey towards your infinite light.
We thank you for being with us each day. Encourage us, we pray in our struggle for justice, love and peace. Amen.
