Dear Patients,
I do my best to be accessible to you at all times. I have an FB page that I regularly check, Messenger and e-mail available for you to contact, clinic numbers for your queries and I do give my personal number to those who might need closer assistance. I specify that I only accept TEXT MESSAGES and this is for your own good. Sometimes, signals are choppy and you will hear differently or you will forget what we talked about so atleast you have a text to review as needed. But most importantly, all consultations are professional and needs proper recording which cannot be done with calls. Your texts /messages will be answered promptly once I have settled my self from other obligations of the day.
Doc, Paano kung emergency?
This is the time that I will not entertain your call or text. Because ALL MEDICAL EMERGENCIES should be entertained in the EMERGENCY ROOM. Another, is you can walk in to my clinic to be checked. This again is for your own good as doctors do not and SHOULD NOT remotely manage emergencies to avoid medical errors.
So please expect that if you call, and identify yourself as a patient or a patient’s guardian, I will politely reply with “Text lang po” and end the call. I will promptly reply to your texts once I am settled for the day.
Again, ALL EMERGENCIES SHOULD BE IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. I will see you there promptly too.
