We’ve recently received a few concerns regarding our one-hour appointment allotment per patient. We’d like to take this opportunity to clarify the reason behind this policy:
1. For most dental procedures, one hour is the average, and often more than enough time to complete a treatment.
2. The reason this information isn’t specified during booking is that it’s generally understood that appointment slots are scheduled consecutively. Each patient has a reserved time, and another appointment follows right after. We sincerely ask for everyone’s understanding and respect for each other’s schedules.
3. Certain procedures, such as tooth fillings involving multiple teeth or deeper cavities, may require more time. In such cases, additional appointments may be needed to ensure proper care and quality treatment.
We also wish to emphasize that it’s unfair to both the clinic and the next scheduled patient to demand that complex treatments be completed within an hour. Dental treatments require time, care, and proper planning. Each case is different, and some treatments especially those involving multiple fillings or deep cavities simply need more than one visit to ensure safety and quality results.
We encourage everyone to schedule their treatments with enough time allowance, especially before personal plans such as travel. Our goal is to provide the best possible care within a fair and organized scheduling system, and that can only be achieved through mutual respect and understanding.
Thank you.
