Our first leg of โญ๏ธ ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ซ & ๐’๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ž: ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐“๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐›๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ โญ๏ธ was a hit! Our team provided toothbrushes for all our learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6, courtesy of Hapee Toothpaste, before gathering them at the covered gym for the demonstration of proper toothbrushing. To start the drill, we demonstrated how to put the right amount of toothpaste provided by our project partner Closeup, and from there, we brushed our teeth step-by-step with the kids. Now we're one step closer for healthier and brighter smiles! ๐Ÿชฅ๐Ÿ’œ

Once again, Project Bangirit extends our thanks to Particion Elementary School, the teachers, the parents, and of course to our learners for making this event a success! On to the next activity in building healthier oral care habits! ๐Ÿ˜

The first day of our ๐Ÿ˜ ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ซ & ๐’๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ž: ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐“๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐›๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ˜ for our Kindergarten to Grade 6 learners starts tomorrow at Particion Elementary School! We're more than ready to learn the drills together with the kids. What better way to build healthier oral care habits than learning and practicing more about what is the proper way of brushing our teeth, right?

Dental Charting and Oral Health Talk day at Particion Elementary School was a success! ๐Ÿฆท Dr. Ryan Nolledo, the Guimbal Municipal Dentist, spearheaded the morning charting schedule for Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners. In the afternoon, Dr. Jessa Rae Paguntalan, UPV Health Services Unit Dentist, and her mother Dr. Noemi Paguntalan, led the dental charting for Grades 4-6 students. After completing the charts for the students, Dr. Jessa also gave a comprehensive talk about the basics of oral health to our PES students.

We also conducted the Pre-testing of the students' knowledge and awareness of oral health to provide the baseline of accomplishing our objectives.

Project Bangirit extends our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ryan, Dr. Jessa, and Dr. Noemi for sharing their invaluable skills to our dear students, as well as to PES Principal and Core Group Head Sir Cyril Gito Gasacao, to the PES teachers, and PTA Officers for the hospitality and collective efforts in the success of our activities. ๐Ÿ’œ
