In case your kids worry the same, here are some tips you might want to consider ☺️
🧠 Start discussing the procedure with your kids at least 3 days in advance. This will give them time to process and ask questions. Be honest and use age-appropriate explanations.
🍌 Use helpful tools like storybooks or animations that explain circumcision in a non-scary way.
💖 Choose gentle words like:
“Konting kirot lang.”
“Daw kagat lang sang subay.”
“Some kids say it feels like a pinch pero dali lang, wala na dayon.”
Avoid words like “tusok”, “sakit”, or “ouchy” to prevent unnecessary fear.
