Cases of influenza-like illness (ILI) in the first two weeks of October were 39% lower compared to the last two weeks of September, the Department of Health (DOH) said on Monday.

The DOH made the statement citing its Saturday data that showed 10,740 ILI cases were reported from September 14 to September 27, 2025.

Meanwhile, it logged 6,457 ILI cases from September 28 to October 11, 2025.

‼️Ayon sa pinakahuling datos ng Field Health Services Information System ng DOH (FHSIS, 2024), 656,115 na Pilipino ang may diabetes. Sa kabila nito, marami pa rin ang hindi nakakaalam na sila ay may ganitong kondisyon.

Alamin ang mga sintomas ng Diabetes. Ugaliin ang regular na konsultasyon para mabantayan ang kalusugan at para sa maagang gamutan.

🦠 1 CONFIRMED CASE OF MPOX IN CITY OF KORONADAL 🦠

The City Health Office of Koronadal 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 (𝟏) 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐩𝐨𝐱 within our jurisdiction. The 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐔) is now conducting thorough contact tracing and implementing all necessary containment measures to prevent further transmission.

🔍 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐗
Mpox is a viral infection that can spread through:
✅ Close skin-to-skin contact with someone who has Mpox
✅ Contact with contaminated objects, fabrics, or surfaces
✅ Respiratory droplets during prolonged face-to-face interaction

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐬:
• Fever, headache, muscle aches, and exhaustion
• Swollen lymph nodes
• Rash or skin lesions (typically develop 1–3 days after fever)

🛡️ 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒:
✔️ Avoid close contact with individuals who have a rash resembling Mpox
✔️ Wash hands often with soap and water or use alcohol-based sanitizer
✔️ Avoid sharing personal items (towels, clothes, beddings)
✔️ Practice proper respiratory hygiene (cover your mouth, wear a mask, and dispose of used tissues properly)

🚨 𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐒𝐘𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐒:
• Stay at home and seek prompt medical care
• Isolate immediately and wait for the swab result from City Health Office

• Separate and disinfect soiled items (clothes, towels, bed linens)
