The Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) wishes to invite you to a 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 “𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞” that will be held via virtual conferencing platforms on 𝟎𝟔 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟔 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.

This 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 advanced training course focuses on the principles of applied ergonomics in the workplace including the identification, assessment, and management of ergonomic risk factors in the office and industrial setting. This training will cover ergonomic concerns such as manual handling, work postures, computer ergonomics, and other ergonomic concerns in the workplace. The training will prepare the participants in developing strategies in managing identified risks and prevent the occurrence and recurrence of occupational and work-related injuries and illnesses.

To those interested, just make sure that you have taken any of these courses before submitting your intent to participate:
• Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training Course for Safety Officers;
• BOSH Training Course for Nurses;
• Construction Safety and Health (COSH) Training Course; or
• Post-graduate Course in Occupational Health and Safety.

The public is strongly advised to 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐀𝐂𝐓 𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄-𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐬 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘, the list of which is found on the OSHC website. The Occupational Safety and Health Center invites you to a 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 self-directed online 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐓) 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 on 𝟎𝟑 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟒 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 via 𝐙𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 and 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 (with three days of Zoom sessions in the morning of 03, 07, and 14 November 2025). This training aims to enhance the decision-making skills of participants in determining the level of care and management for workers with drug use issues, and to provide knowledge and skills in conducting drug assessments and establishing a referral system.

A. Participants must have taken any of the following courses from DOLE-accredited/recognized training organizations/institutions or any government-recognized institutions or UP-CPH:
• Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training
• Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) training/Construction Safety Training (CST)
• Basic Course on Occupational Medicine (BCOM)
• Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training for Nurses

B. Participants must have taken and completed the 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦. Instructions on how to take the prerequisite online course will be sent to your respective emails.

C. Participants must be currently employed and preferably any of these in the company:
• Human Resource (HR) Personnel
• Program Manager
• Member of the Safety and Health Committee

D. Participants are required to make their own Google Account with @𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥.𝐜𝐨𝐦 as the domain name. 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝.

E. Participants shall upload and submit the following in the online registration form:
• Any valid Philippine government-issued ID (front and back in .pdf or .jpg format)
• Company ID (front and back in .pdf or .jpg format)
• 2x2 ID photo (Specifications: White background, .jpeg/.jpg file format, taken in the last 6 months. Note: Selfies not accepted)
• BOSH or COSH/CST Certificate (for safety officers, in .pdf or .jpg format) / BOSH for Nurses Certificate (for nurse participants, in .pdf or .jpg format) / Basic Occupational Medicine Certificate (for physician participants, in .pdf or .jpg format)

F. Participants should have a working laptop, microphone, speakers/earphones/headphones, and we**am.
