Agoo Municipal Health Office in Action | November 9, 2025

In response to Typhoon Uwan, the Agoo Municipal Health Office (MHO) conducted medical consultations and distributed essential medicines to evacuees at the designated evacuation centers.

Our dedicated health workers continue to ensure the well-being and safety of every Agooeño affected by the typhoon.

Health and Wellness Program for LGU-Agoo 💚

LGU-Agoo, through the Agoo Municipal Health Office Primary Care Facility, successfully conducted the Health and Wellness Program last October 14–15, 2025 at the Agoo Farmer’s Building Conference Hall, Sta. Barbara, Agoo, La Union.

This activity supports the Healthy Workplace Initiative — a framework that promotes employee well-being by encouraging healthy habits, positive work environments, and proactive health awareness.

Participants actively engaged in discussions on key health concerns such as:
🧠 Mental Health
🩸 Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension
💨 Tuberculosis
🩺 HIV Awareness & Prevention

Free health screenings, medical consultations, and wellness services, including therapeutic massage, were also provided to support holistic well-being.

Together, we continue to nurture a healthier, informed, and empowered workforce — because a healthy workplace leads to a stronger community.
