🌊🌍 Making Waves for a Cleaner Tomorrow!

Today, September 20, 2025, in Basak Tangke, Lapu-Lapu City, a few organizations and clubs from STEC—SSLG, YES-O, MARS, Junior Police, and Mantalaan—came together to join the International Coastal Clean-Up 2025.

From remnants of broken tires to pieces of broken bones left behind, we picked up countless pieces of trash that threatened our seas and shores. 🐚✨ Each piece collected was a step toward protecting marine life and preserving our environment for future generations.

🌟 Together, we turned small actions into a big impact—proving that when we unite, we can truly make a difference!

LAC Session Report – August 20, 2025
Topic: Growing Minds, Growing Gardens: Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in Action Through Gulayan sa Paaralan
Facilitators: Alma Vida Goda and Irish Dihayco

The LAC session on August 20, 2025, emphasized that education extends beyond the four walls of the classroom—it can flourish alongside the seedlings students nurture. Through the Gulayan sa Paaralan program, participants explored how Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is cultivated not only in theory but also through hands-on practice.

Facilitators Ma’am Irish Dihayco and Ma’am Alma Vida Goda emphasized how school gardens function as living classrooms that integrate sustainability, science, and responsibility education. They emphasized how these areas enable students to actively contribute to creating more environmentally friendly futures, one plant at a time.

The session further showcased how the simple act of planting can be transformed into a powerful educational tool, proving that sustainable habits are not merely taught but are lived and experienced.

Hands-on learning, greener futures indeed! 🌱
