History of SPOT:
The Society of Prospective Occupational Therapist (SPOT) was formed when the Occupational Therapy Students Assembly (OTSA) headed by Mr. Mike Sy in the year 2010, encouraged OT students of UPHSD to attend its OT students assembly. Ruth Ann Maureen Limbo was the first representative of the OT students of the University of Perpetual Help System-DALTA. This opportunity exposed how local organization can help OT students to reach their full potential, expose them to other OT related events, to help OT students to voice out & be heard, & to have a group of students that will represent & support student OTs of UPHSD. With the help of Mr. Jose Ferdinand Bulos III, Ms. Regina Camille Gallardo & Ms. Mariah Justine Alvarez, a local organization for OT students called SPOT was formed.
