In celebration of World TB Day, the Carigara Municipal Health Office conducted a Free Chest X-Ray Active Case Finding Activity on March 24, 2026 (Tuesday) at 9:00 AM as part of the PuroKalusugan Services, highlighting the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP) — one of the priority health outcomes of the Department of Health.

This initiative aimed to strengthen early detection of tuberculosis through proactive community screening, particularly among vulnerable and high-risk populations. The activity was initiated by Ms. Andeline L. Durante, Municipal NTP Coordinator, in collaboration with Ms. Jodita Quintana, Medical Technologist, ensuring the efficient delivery of quality diagnostic services. In addition, comprehensive information on available TB services, treatment, and rhu schedules was imparted to participants to promote awareness, encourage early consultation, and support adherence to treatment.
