In connection with the celebration of 90th Founding Anniversary of Armed Forces of the Philippines, Fernando Air Base Hospital joins the AFP Simultaneous Hospital Visit and Gift Giving of the Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines, General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. PA via Videoteleconference (VTC) held at the FABH Lobby on 28 November 2025.

The event was also graced by the Chief of Command Staff for Operations, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Colonel Marlon S. Hardillo PAF (MNSA) and the Deputy Group Commander of 550th Air Base Group, Lieutenant Colonel Melben N. Sioco PAF who spearheaded the gift-giving to five Candidate Soldiers (CS) patients.

FABH, thru the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Precious R. Relles Medical Corps, extends its congratulations to our outstanding FABH military personnel, Major Gilberto Luccio V. Mendoza Medical Corps and Airwoman Second Class Rachel V Cruzada PAF and civilian awardee, Dra. Marie Antonette A. Castaños, who received the Chief of Staff Commendation Medal and Ribbon during the ceremony.

Their unwavering commitment, professionalism, and exemplary performance continue to inspire the entire Fernando Air Base community.

✨ A Day of Celebration and Blessings at FABH ✨

FABH joyfully marked a day filled with gratitude and celebration as we honored our October to November birthday celebrants — recognizing their dedication and continued service to the institution.

Held on November 7, 2025, this meaningful event began with the celebration of the First Friday Mass officiated by REV FR (P2LT) Gelo San Pedro CHS, setting a solemn and inspiring tone for the day’s activities.

The celebration also highlighted FABH’s continuous commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for its personnel and their families through the Blessing of the FABH Child Minding Area, a significant step toward full DOH compliance and employee welfare.

Adding to this momentous occasion was the Blessing of the new Electric Bike, which will be utilized for official FABH activities — symbolizing our move towards sustainable and efficient mobility in support of environmental responsibility and operational readiness.

These accomplishments were made possible under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Precious R Relles MC, Acting Commanding Officer of FABH, whose guidance continues to inspire excellence and teamwork within the hospital.

This would also not have been accomplished without the support and leadership of the Group Commander, 550th Air Base Group, whose continued encouragement and direction strengthen FABH’s mission of service and care.

Together, these milestones reflect FABH’s steadfast pursuit of excellence, innovation, and care for both our people and the community we serve. 💙

💙 UNILAB and Fernando Air Base Hospital Unite for Health and Wellness! 💙

In celebration of UNILAB’s 80th Founding Anniversary, and in partnership with Fernando Air Base Hospital (FABH), Fernando Air Base proudly served as one of the beneficiaries of the Bayanihan sa Kalusugan (BSK) “Alaga sa Manggagawa” flagship health program.

The program formally opened with an inspiring message from Brigadier General Pedro S. Agapito PAF, Deputy Commander, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), who graced the event as Guest of Honor and Speaker. His presence highlighted the significance of promoting health and wellness as vital pillars of mission readiness and service excellence within the Air Force community.

The 4-day Annual Physical Examination (APE) and health education activity, held from 21–24 October 2025 at Bulwagang Makulot, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City, offered free and comprehensive medical services to active and retired military and civilian personnel. The services included physical examinations, laboratory screenings, X-rays, and basic disease education.

This meaningful collaboration aimed to promote early detection of health risks, strengthen preventive healthcare practices, and enhance overall well-being among members of the Fernando Air Base community.

💪 Our heartfelt thanks to UNILAB and to all who contributed to the success of this wellness initiative—truly a testament to our shared commitment to a healthier and more resilient Air Force family.
