This phrase encapsulates the essence of my experience during the four-day Brainspotting training.

Throughout this journey, I came to appreciate that silence does not equate to the absence of internal processing or emotional depth. Brainspotting has taught me to trust the "kapwa"s inner experience and to honour their pace. I have learned that as "katuwang", we are not always required to offer solutions to the concerns of our kapwa.

Instead, what is often more meaningful is our presence, as a katuwang, a compassionate and grounded companion in their healing process. Sometimes, simply being there to listen and hold space is not only enough, but deeply necessary.

I am truly grateful for the insights and learning this training has cultivated in me."
