Recent data suggests a sharp rise in "Screen Dependency Disorder" among Filipino youth (Based on recent 2025/2026 data). ๐Ÿ“‰ When teens spend hours in a dopamine-driven feedback loop (likes, shares, notifications), it hijacks their emotional regulation. Para sa mga teens, mas mahirap itong labanan dahil ang kanilang brain ay nasa stage pa ng development. Ang resulta? Mas mataas na risk para sa anxiety at body image issues.

At Psyzygy, we see the impact: disrupted sleep, body image pressure, and social fatigue. Itโ€™s time to move from "passive scrolling" to "active connection." Bilang mga magulang at guardians, madaling matakot sa "algorithm," pero ang totoo, kailangan ng mga teens natin ng gabay, hindi lang bawal.
